User Accounts
You must have an FMBC account in order to place a bid. We recommend that you create your account in advance, so that you’re ready when bidding opens.
When you register, you will receive an email with your username and a link to create your password. Be sure to check your SPAM.
Bidding
Many of the auctions will have a starting bid as well as a Buy It Now price. The Buy It Now option will remain available until the current auction bid surpasses the Buy It Now price.
Proxy bidding is in place. Place your bid for the maximum price that you are willing to pay and the system will automatically bid for you by the bid increment until someone places a higher bid than your maximum price. You will be notified if you are outbid.
Auction Payments
If you are the winning bidder or choose to Buy Now, you will need to proceed to checkout. You will have the option to pay by credit card (via Paypal) or check. Credit card payments will incur an additional Paypal fee. If you wish to pay by check, once you complete checkout we will contact you to arrange pickup of your item and payment arrangements.
